แม่น้ำรำลึก ฉบับสองภาษา ไทย-อังกฤษ (ซีไรต์ ปี 2547)

เรวัตร์ พันธุ์พิพัฒน์ นำเสนอภาพชีวิตในวัยเยาว์ ซึ่งเป็นวัยพิสุทธิ์อันกระจ่างในความทรงจำ โดยรำลึกย้อนผ่านสถานที่ เหตุการณ์ ผู้คน และสรรพสิ่งรอบตัว ภาพแต่ละภาพมีเรื่องเล่าที่เรียงร้อยเป็นภาพชีวิตหลากหลายมิติซึ่งสื่อให้เห็นว่ามนุษย์ล้วนมีความฝันที่ต้องไขว่คว้า แต่ความหมายที่แท้จริงของชีวิตกลับอยู่ที่ประสบการณ์ในวัยเยาว์อันเป็นพลังหล่อเลี้ยงชีวิตในปัจจุบัน

ด้านศิลปะการประพันธ์ กวีนิพนธ์แต่ละบทมีความสมบูรณ์ในตัวเองและเรียงร้อยเป็นโครงเรื่องที่มีเอกภาพ มีภาพชีวิตในวัยเยาว์เป็นปฐมบทและลงท้ายด้วยปัจฉิมบทในวัยชรา กวีใช้กลวิธีหลากหลายในการนำเสนอ เช่น ใช้จินตภาพที่ประสานความฝันกับความจริงและสื่อความขัดแย้งที่กลมกลืนกัน ใช้คำง่ายๆ ที่สื่อความหมายได้หลายนัยอย่างมีสุนทรียรส

กวีนิพนธ์เรื่อง แม่น้ำรำลึก ของ เรวัตร์ พันธุ์พิพัฒน์ จึงมีความโดดเด่นด้านแนวคิดที่มีลักษณะเป็นสากลและการสร้างสรรค์ด้วยชั้นเชิงวรรณศิลป์ สมควรได้รับยกย่องให้ได้รับรางวัลวรรณกรรมสร้างสรรค์ยอดเยี่ยมแห่งอาเซียน (ซีไรต์) ประจำปีพุทธศักราช 2547

The S.E.A. Write Award judging committee are unanimous in presenting the 2004 Thailand S.E.A. Write Award to Rewat Panpipat’s collection of poems “Reminiscence of the River”.

      Rewat Panpipat presents the pure and innocent memories of youth through his clarity of thought. Such recollection is records on various places, circumstances, people and things surrounding us. Each image is accompanied by a story woven into multi-dimensional portraits of life. Altogether this collection shows that man keeps dreaming and pursuing his dreams and that the conditions and experiences of youth are essential to understanding the true meaning of life. Such childhood experiences then help fuel our present day’s lives.

   The S.E.A. Write Award judging committee praises both the overall structure of the collection and the state of perfection of each poem, the creative mixture in it of dream and reality, the smooth blending of unrelated elements, the variety of poetic forms at work and the way simple words are used to suggest multiple meanings or prompt associations of ideas.

   With its thought-provoking distinction, universality and poetic eloquence, Rewat Panpipat’s collection of poems “Reminiscence of the River” is therefore the unanimous choice of the 2004 S.E.A. Write Award judging committee.
